The Shimano Advanced Adapters are adapters for mounting a Shimano disc brake. With these adapters you can mount your brake caliper in the right way and adjust it to the desired size of the brake disc.
The adapters are available in a variant for an IS and a Post-Mount connection.
In the case of an IS connection, the side screws are screwed onto the connection of the frame, while in the case of a Post-Mount brake, these screws are screwed in from the rear. Please refer to the enclosed picture for more information.
